The Final Wrap-up of this year – the ATSC Awards 2022

The days are getting shorter, the nights longer (in the northern hemisphere) and Christmas is practically upon us. That can only mean one thing: It’s time for the All Things Supply Chain Awards of 2022!

Our awards ceremony has become a now cherished tradition, and we always use it to take a look back at the blog over the past year. While the ATSC blog scratched the 200k reader mark last year, this year we expect to see the biggest growth we’ve ever had, to nearly 250k readers. So more than 25% growth in readers this year!

A successful year for the blog, a turbulent one for the world’s supply chains. The pandemic is not yet completely over and a war and an accompanying energy crisis, especially in Europe, are burdening the global economy with extremely high inflation rates. And the climate crisis seems to be getting worse with each passing year, resulting in necessary transformations of entire industries. If there is anything positive to take from this for the future, it is probably the fact that the pressure to innovate is constantly increasing and so many new, interesting supply chain stories can be told.

The All Things Supply Chain Awards – Highlights from 2022

After this brief, depressing digression into the world economic situation, now for something more cheerful – this year’s ATSC Awards. And as in every year, the readers have decided the choice. This year, awards will again be presented in three categories: “Most Read Guest Blogger 2022,” “Most Read New Article 2022,” and “Best All-time Performer.” The ranking in the different categories is based on an index, which incorporates the absolute viewer numbers as well as the publishing date, in order to value the performance over time and thus also giving freshly published articles a fair chance of winning.
