“We want to share with the public opinion, Defence, Industry and with all the most important sectors of civil society our path, made up of collective memory but always looking at the future” General Goretti said. An approach that has driven the design of the official Italian Air Force Calendar, that retraces, through 12 artwork, the ten decades of the Air Force, embracing the past, present and future.

An interesting cultural initiative that has in fact already opened the long path towards the Centenary of the Aeronautics is the “Ali di Carta” (Paper Wings) exhibition, hosted until mid-February 2023 in the Historical Halls of Palazzo Aeronautica, which retraces the epic of two of the most incredible inventions of the last century, cinema and flight, through the most important Italian and international cinema billboards and posters from the 1900s to today.

On Feb. 15, the Salone dei Cinquecento in Palazzo Vecchio in Florence, will host the Historical Symposium, a narrative path with a historical that will retrace the fundamental stages of flight and the Air Force, recalling the story of the main characters who gave prestige and impetus to the 100 years of the Air Force.
