DigFin announced the winners of the AMTD DigFin Innovation Awards 2021 for capital markets, banking and payments during Hong Kong Fintech Week, in a live ceremony at AMTD’s booth.
Winners on the ground joined us in person, while those from around the world participated via Zoom.
Eric Chan, chief public mission officer at Cyberport, opened the event.
It’s not easy to win a DigFinnie. There is no entry fee, no paying for awards. Fintechs, financial institutions, and others must submit entries that are reviewed by a panel of independent expert judges. This ensures the awards are purely based on merit.
That dedication to independence and authoritativeness is why we received over 100 submissions for our capital market, banking, and payment awards. These come on top of awards we hosted in the spring for innovative solutions and firms in asset and wealth management, and insurance.
