Like most games based on anime, Type Soul is all about the numbers. With my Type Soul Semi Grade 1 guide, you can make sure your numbers are as high as possible when your opponent’s numbers come knocking.

Type Soul is an in-depth Roblox RPG. Inspired by the world and characters of Bleach, it lets you pick a Race and a build, and take on other players in frantic battles. There are many ways to boost your power in the game, once of which is increasing your Grade. In this guide, I’ll show you how to reach the second-to-last Grade for each character.

Type Soul is free to play via Roblox right now. For more on the game, check out our Type Soul Red Pill guide and our Type Soul Menoscar guide.

Complete Type Soul Semi Grade 1 Guide

In this guide, I’ll go over what Semi Grade 1 is, and how you can reach it with each of the game’s character types.

What Is Semi Grade 1?

Semi Grade 1 is the second-to-last Grade every character in Type Soul can reach. It comes just before Elite Grade, where your character reaches the peak of their power. It’s also the point where the requirements for gaining another Grade rank up considerably, making the final grind to Elite a real challenge.

How To Reach It

Getting to Semi Grade 1 is a different process for each character type. I’ve broken all three down below.

Soul Reaper

Going from Grade 5 to Grade 3 as a Soul Reaper is straightforward. All you need to do is gain Mission XP. going from Grade 3 to Grade 2 requires you to get a Shikai, however, and earn Shikai and Division XP as well. From here, you can reach Semi Grade 1 by building up even more Shikai and Division XP.

Quincy

Getting to Semi Grade 1 as a Quincy is much simpler than it is for a Soul Reaper. You can go all the way from Grade 5 to Semi Grade 1 on Mission XP alone. This can be quite a grind if you take it on solo, so I’d recommend teaming up with other players and completing Missions as a party. It’s a more efficient way of doing things.

Hollow/Arrancar

Hollows are identical to Quincys in that you can get them all the way to Semi Grade 1 on nothing but Mission XP. Unlike Quincys, however, Hollows have a much tougher time in the early game, so their path isn’t quite as straightforward. For that reason, the advice I gave above about forming a party goes double for Hollows.
