Ubisoft Forward Live announced for June 12

Original (3/27): Ubisoft has announced that it will host a Ubisoft Forward Live event on June 12, 2023. The company will be providing fans with updates on projects it has in development, and there’s a good chance we’ll be hearing about Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope DLC here. We know that the event will be happening in Los Angeles, but further information is not yet available.

Ubisoft previously announced that it would be appearing at E3 2023. However, it has since decided against that, with a spokesperson stating the company “made the subsequent decision to move in a different direction”.

The full statement reads:

“E3 has fostered unforgettable moments across the industry throughout the years. While we initially intended to have an official E3 presence, we’ve made the subsequent decision to move in a different direction, and will be holding a Ubisoft Forward Live event on 12th June in Los Angeles. We look forward to sharing more details with our players very soon.”

E3 2023 will finally be back in person this June after taking a few years off due to the coroavirus pandemic. However, some of the big players in the industry will be absent, including Nintendo, PlayStation, and Xbox. Now you can add Ubisoft to the pile as well.

Update (6/1): An official announcement video has come in for Ubisoft Forward Live. The show starts at 10 PM PT / 1 PM ET / 6 PM in the UK / 7 PM in Europe. A pre-show will air 15 minutes prior.
