WoW Shadowlands Weekly Reset Moves Us Closer to 9.1

WoW Shadowlands is approaching a new weekly reset, which will take servers down for maintenance, and could possibly introduce a new patch!

Whether or not we get an update with this week’s reset – it gets us one step closer to the Shadowlands 9.1 Chains of Domination update!

WoW Shadowlands Weekly Reset – May 13

Players are still waiting for the Shadowlands 9.1 Chains of Domination update after its reveal at BlizzCon 2021.

While it looks like the wait will continue for some time, the Shadowlands weekly reset on May 13th is what’s coming next.

Release Date

WoW Shadowlands servers will go down for the weekly reset on Tuesday, May 11th, from 10am to 11am EST.

Patch Notes

WoW Shadowlands went through a long drought with no hotfix updates heading into May, but a few tiny hotfixes have given players some hope, and the weekly reset could offer another!

Shadowlands 9.1 may be the biggest thing on player’s minds, the game is still growing before it’s arrival – and Tuesday may bring us some new changes.

In the meantime, here’s the latest WoW Shadowlands patch notes:

MAY 7, 2021

Dungeons and Raids

  • Castle Nathria
    • Lady Inerva Darkvein
      • [With regional restarts] Health reduced by 10% on Mythic difficulty.
      • [With regional restarts] Conjured Manifestation and Harnessed Specter health reduced by 10% on Mythic difficulty.
      • [With regional restarts] Fixed an issue where Concentrated Anima and Shared Suffering could choose a player currently affected by Forgeborne Reveries (Necrolord Soulbind).
  • Spires of Ascension
    • Kin-Tara
      • Fixed an issue where she would sometimes choose to fly out of the area and reset the encounter.

Classes

  • Hunter
    • Fixed an issue with interrupt effects and Scare Beast while Aspect of the Turtle is active.

Dungeons and Raids

  • Castle Nathria
    • Sire Denathrius
      • Fixed an issue that caused Painful Memories to damage pets and guardians.

Player versus Player

  • The rating requirement to earn progress for the Rated PvP seasonal mount has been lowered to 1000 (was 1400).
