GCash has announced that the native token of the local gaming guild Yield Guild Games (YGG) is now available for purchase, sale, and trading through its in-app crypto trading feature, GCrypto.
Starting April 16, the YGG token is officially introduced on GCrypto, providing access to over 80 million GCash users.

How to Trade on GCrypto:
- Access GCrypto through the GCash app.
- Ensure your GCrypto wallet is funded, with seamless top-ups available via GCash.
- Select the desired cryptocurrency.
- Choose either buying or selling.
- Enter the amount in pesos or cryptocurrency.
- Review and confirm the transaction details.

About the YGG Token:
The YGG token, an ERC-20 token, is supported by Yield Guild’s assets and acts as the native token for Yield Guild Games, which is on track to evolve into a full Decentralized Autonomous Organization (DAO). While it currently serves as a governance token, it is expected to provide holders with future cash flow entitlements from the guild’s activities.
YGG token holders also gain access to exclusive channels on the YGG Discord server.
Recently, the token was added to the Ronin Blockchain, and Katana, Ronin’s decentralized exchange (DEX), now offers liquidity pairings and exclusive quests. Following this, YGG tokens were airdropped to RON staking wallets on the YGG validator, with bonuses for longer stakes.
GCrypto Updates:
This year, GCrypto has also listed three more tokens: Ronin (RON), Tezos (XTZ), and the Tron-based stablecoin Tether (USDT).
