We’re now well into the first month of 2023 and it’s time to take a look at the new vehicles coming to market that will make an impact. 

On Tuesday we’ll finally get to offer up some details about the first-ever electrified Corvette. There have been rumors floating about a battery-powered model even before the eighth-generation model was unveiled late in 2019. 

In fact, we’ve written several stories about the Corvette E-Ray, the hybrid C8, in recent weeks, and it seems the public will finally get to hear something about what’s coming from the folks at Chevy and General Motors.

Next, the Automotive Press Association hosts a roundtable Wednesday led by S&P Global Mobility, principal analyst, Stephanie Brinley, Consumer Reports, senior director of automotive testing, Jake Fisher and Detroit Free Press, auto critic and columnist, Mark Phelan, who tell us what vehicles will be hot for 2023 and what’s going by the wayside. 

Aside from the aforementioned Corvette, there will likely be plenty of new EVs among those hot new vehicles. We’ll let you know what they suggest and maybe offer up a few vehicles of our own in the event they miss one. 

We’ll also be heading out of town to get some seat time in important new releases like the Honda Pilot and Ineos Grenadier, the Defender-inspired SUV that essentially came to life on the back of a napkin in an English pub one night.
