Green Bay Packers captain Aaron Rodgers is permuting a chunk of his salary into Bitcoin. He is the present-day professional athlete to join the crypto craze. The ternary MVP said Green Bay is also bestowing $1 million worth of digital currency. And he’s donating a portion of the digital loot to his beloved fans.

It was Monday afternoon when Aaron Rodgers first announced; via Twitter post; of his being teamed with Cash App to take a portion of his NFL salary in Bitcoin.
Accoutered in a John Wick Halloween costume, with his grown hair complementing, Rodgers added that he’s releasing $1 million in Bitcoin away in concomitance with Cash App.

He comments, “Bitcoin is a new concept. It might be intimidating!” And so, to add accessibility & availability for his fans, Aaron Rodgers announces giving away $1 million worth of Bitcoin straight off.
Formerly, NFL players like Russell Okung and Trevor Lawrence had already lumped their salary rendered in Bitcoin. And now, Rodgers joins them vigorously.
Rodgers is earning $1.1 million in base salary for the 2021 season. He had collected around $23.1 million from a pair of bonuses. Anyways, he hadn’t to date disclosed how much of his $33.5 million salary would be paid in Bitcoin. To date, it’s not clear how much of the three-time MVP’s salary is to be given in Bitcoin.
Rodgers is not the only upcoming Hall of Fame quarterback who felt generous lately. In retort for getting the football, he smacked his 600th touchdown pass.
