Amazon and Stellantis Bring Customer-Centric Connected Experiences to Millions of Vehicles

Amazon and global automaker and mobility provider Stellantis have announced several global, multi-year agreements meant to transform the in-vehicle experience for millions of Stellantis customers and to advance the mobility industry’s transition to a sustainable, software-defined future.Customer-Centric Connected Experiences

The relationship involves Amazon Devices, Amazon Web Services (AWS), and Amazon Last Mile. Stellantis plans to deploy Amazon’s technology and software expertise across the whole organization, including vehicle development, building connected in-vehicle experiences, and training the automotive software engineers. The two companies plan to create a suite of software-based products and services that integrate with customers’ digital lives and add value over time through over-the-air software updates.

The collaboration brings together Amazon’s innovation in digital experiences, cloud computing, AI, and machine learning with Stellantis’ portfolio of 14 iconic vehicle brands. The collaboration will focus on several areas:
