Dolce & Gabbana Present the New “Future Rewind” Digital Fashion Competition

The iconic Italian fashion brand Dolce & Gabbana and UNXD are proudly launching a flagship digital fashion competition on Decentraland during Metaverse Fashion Week 2023 from March 28 to 31. The “Future Rewind Competition” will create opportunities for young digital visionaries to exchange innovations across various mediums. Submission limitations are a minimum of five, with no more than 20 creative digital wearables. To enter, participants must get inspiration from one or a combination of six prints for complete digital looks.

Recognizable worldwide, the simple design has remained an iconic representation of the fashion brand since its inception in 1985. The dark gold hue is a color symbolic of wealth and prosperity. The Traditional Sicilian Carretto

This collection draws inspiration from traditional folklore with its vibrant colors and flavors of Sicily’s Mediterranean melting pot representing the influence of the cultures of many generations. Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana pull from their Sicilan roots for the Black Lace collection. The pieces recall Southern Italian folk costumes, portraying an alluring sense of inaccessible sensuality. Patrons of the brand, like Linda Evangelista, Isabella Rossellini and Madonna, celebrate the feminine collection. The mid-century traditional classic embodies true icons like Sophia Loren.

All participants who wish to innovate the next generation of digital wearable fashion may apply through March 12. Any design software and formats will be accepted through a link to the art portfolio. D&G will collaborate with the finalists to give feedback on submissions to help creatively refine the designs. Mr. Dolce and Mr. Gabbana will serve on a jury with DGFamily NFT holders for a public vote. A selection of 15-20 winning pieces will be co-branded by Dolce & Gabbana. The winning digital wearable collection will be airdropped to exclusive DGFamily holders.
