Puni started his career off at the Division II level, but transferred up to D-I and impressed. Now he is in the 2024 NFL Draft.

As a no-star recruit in the class of 2018, Puni signed with Central Missouri to stay in-state. He played some as a true freshman in 2018, before being an Honorable Mention all-conference player in 2019. Puni played tackle at Central Missouri before transferring to Kansas in 2022 when he moved to guard. He was an All-Big 12 Honorable Mention selection for the 2022 season. His play helped Kansas win six games. Puni returned in 2023 and was named First Team All-Big 12. He led the Jayhawks to a nine-win season in 2023.

Following the 2023 season, Puni declared for the 2024 NFL Draft. He is currently projected to be a mid-round pick.

Dominick Puni Strengths

Puni has solid size for an interior offensive lineman at the NFL level. He stands at 6-foot-5 and 313 pounds, which is good for the interior. Puni could add a little more strength to his frame, as he can carry it. With his size, he also has good arm length that measures in at 33 and 3/8 inches.

His pass blocking is very impressive. He has good footwork and is able to mirror defenders lined up in front of him. With his hand usage and length, he is able to stabilize oncoming rushers and protect the passer. He also sees pressure well and can pick it up.

He is a solid athlete in a few different ways. Puni has good quickness and can convert that into decent speed. He is able to get to the second level on run plays and block-moving targets. Puni has solid agility and flexibility as well. His ability to mirror pass rushers is also a product of his athleticism.
