Forza Horizon 5 Festival Playlist Weekly Challenges Guide Series 29 – Autumn | TheXboxHub

As night follows day, so Autumn follows Summer in the world of Forza Horizon 5, and so it proves this week as the Community Choice series continues. I wonder what will be in store for us this week in terms of the Festival Playlist Weekly Challenges for Series 29 Autumn? My crystal ball is annoyingly dark on the subject…

What I can deduce is that there will be some tunes required for the racing and other events. And that’s what I’m here for, so let’s crack on.

Part 1: Weekly Car Challenge – C For Competition

The weekly challenge car for Series 29 – Autumn is a Jaaaaaaaaag. A C -Type from 1953, to be precise.

Should you not have one in your garage, then it is available in the Autoshow for a hefty 5,000,000 credits. It is available in the Forzathon shop for 900 Forza points if you haven’t got the cash. I bought it in British Racing Green, obviously.

Chapter 1 – Limited Numbers

Get in your new car, take it for a spin. Step one complete! Try not to bend it… as only 53 were made in real life!

Chapter 2 – C You Later!

We now need to hit 120mph in the car. Find a nice straight road, like the highway, and pin that throttle.

Chapter 3 – Barchetta Beauty

Now simply take a photo of this beast. Simples.

Chapter 4 – Lighter, Faster

Now we need to earn 6 stars at speed traps. Just keep zooming past in stock trim is my advice.

Complete these tasks and we will be five points closer to the seasonal prizes that are up for grabs with Forza Horizon 5’s Festival Playlist Weekly Challenges for Series 29. 

Part 2: Weekly Challenges, Championships and PR Stunts

So, with the weekly challenge done and dusted, let’s dive into the rest of the mayhem on offer. 

Again, many Eventlabs are in this week’s rotation…

The Trial – Trial and Error

We need a C Class 600 Pickup or 4X4 this time, and of the choice on offer, I chose a Ford F-150 SVT Raptor from 2011. The share code is : 139383916.

Hopefully find a bunch of like minded racers and batter the driverbots, but whatever you end up with, try to have fun.

Should we manage to win out on this mammoth drive, a Porsche Cayman will be ours. Makes it all worthwhile.

Eventlab 1 – DEXTER41300 Presents – Baja Motorsports Park GP 3L

Fords and a tuning limit of A Class 800 are required this time around, and of the cars on the list, I chose a stock Ford Focus RS from 2001. If it’s good enough for Colin McRae, it’s good enough for me!

A fun track, the Focus made it come alive and was a lot of fun to thrash around.

The prize for completing this race is a Mercedes C 63 Coupe. Germanic!

Eventlab 2 – HONZ12 Presents – Neon Slopes Circuit

The category for this one is Super Saloons, and the class is A Class 800. I went with a stock Porsche Panamera Turbo, mainly as it has AWD built in.

This track is a lot of fun to drive, with a nice flowing layout. One of the better ones of recent times.

Take away a Super Wheelspin for completing this one.

Eventlab 3 – SPACEPACAS Presents – Kiyosumi Circuit

This time we have to use an Audi that is also a B Class 700. In an attempt to save the pennies, I used a stock RS4 Avant.

Basically an oval with a wiggle in it, this track didn’t excite. 

For winning out, we can take home a new “Kickups” emote. Awesome.

PR Stunt 1 –  Danger Sign – Metal Bird

Thank goodness, normal service has been resumed, and the PR Stunts this week all share a common theme – Modern Sports Cars, up to S1 Class 900.

For a bit of jumping, I chose my Audi TT RS from 2010, and the share code is : 127103626.

We need to clear over 70m, which seems very short? However, the landing zone is very congested, so be careful when coming down.

We get a Super Wheelspin in return though. 

PR Stunt 2 -Speed Trap – Tulum

Speed and S1 means it is time to use the same Audi as above. I like saving pennies.

We have to exceed 170 mph to triumph, so we’ll really need to pedal hard.

Another Super Wheelspin awaits. 

PR Stunt 3 -Speed Zone – Green Hills

Same limit, same car I reckon!

The difference is we need to clear over 150 mph average through the zone. Approach from the left, but the last corner is a real pain.

Yet another Super Wheelspin awaits.

Seasonal Championship 1 – Muddy Madness

For this event, it is an Unlimited Offroad vehicle we need, and with a tuning limit of A Class 800, it is the Jeep Trailcat that gets the nod. Share code for mine is : 118411445. I love this thing!

For winning out, we can take home a Ford RS200, which is nice.

Seasonal Championship 2 – By Jeeps and Bounds

Yes, we need a Toyota now.

Only kidding! It’s actually a Jeep, and the chance to recycle a joke from last week was too great. Sorry!

I chose a Grand Cherokee SRT, and the share name for mine is “SRT” in conjunction with my GT, Red620Ti. Although the tune consists of a set of off road tyres!

Should we win out, an Audi RS7 will be a nice thing to take home..

Part 3: Other Challenges

There’s always more to get involved in than just the racing, and that is the case again this week with Series 29 – Autumn.

No treasure hunts at all this week, which is a bit of a let down, but we do have to smash some cubes. And take a pretty picture, of course!

Photo Challenge – #SHOWINGOFF

We have to photograph a Porsche, any Porsche, in Guanajuato with the character outside the car. Sounds easy? That it is!

See up top for my artistic effort, and below for the location.

The reward? A new Forzalink phrase, “Eat my Dust!”.

Horizon Arcade – Mini Games

This week we have to complete all three rounds of any Horizon Arcade event, and as we all know by now, Drift is the best, right?

Simply do all three rounds, solo or with a crew if you can find one, and you too can have a massive 3 points towards the weekly total.

Collectibles – Best in Poll

We need to go to the Valle De Las Ranas, find ten Horizon cubes and drive into them. Sounds pretty easy, yeah? Well, in case you are stuck, I’ll post a picture of what you are after and the location below.

The prize is a new emote, an Air Guitar one. Groovy!

Part 4: Hot Wheels Events

If you have the Hot Wheels expansion and are an Elite Level player, then you get to enjoy a couple of extra events.

Seasonal PR Stunt – Danger Sign – Forest Escape

Does jumping off a ramp count as an escape? Still, we need to jump over 211 metres in an S1 Class Modern Sports Car, and so I went with an Audi TT RS from 2010, share code – 127103626.

Hitting the ramp at 150 mph saw me clear it easily.

A Super Wheelspin is your reward. 

Seasonal Championship – Icebreaker

We need a B Class 700 Subaru for this event, and it has to be an Impreza, doesn’t it? I chose a classic 22B, and the share code for mine is : 164422572.

Completing the championship will get us a Penhall Cholla which is nice, if a little drafty looking.

Part 5: Rally Adventure Events

The Rally Adventure expansion brings even more events to the roster and provided you are already a Horizon Badlands champion, you’ll get access to the following couple of events… 

Seasonal PR Stunt – Drift Zone – Canyon Sweep

Same restriction as the other PR Stunts here, and some sliding about is on the cards. I chose a TVR Griffith for this, in stock trim, as what a TVR doesn’t know about wagging its tail isn’t worth knowing!

We need to score over 62,000 points to win out.

The prize is another Super Wheelspin. Sigh.

Seasonal Championship – Hatchback by Popular Demand

We need a Retro Rally car for this race series, and the limit is only C Class 600, so it isn’t going to be fast and furious, is it? I chose a Toyota Celica ST205. 

For winning out, we can take away a Nissan GT-R from 1973, the same age as me.

With Series 29 moving into Autumn, you should be saving up the points again. The prizes this time are the Nissan GT-R ‘20 for 80 points, and a Porsche 911 GT3 ‘21 for 160.

If you need a few extra points to get you over the line, the monthly Rivals challenges are here; and there are a total of four to have a crack at this week – two proper events and two EV ones. Horizon Mexico Circuit and Playa Azul Circuit cover the options for the real engines, and Arch of Mulege Circuit and Emerald Circuit are in place for the EVs. Four points of offer for each, so get lapping!

Next up will be Winter, and given the temperature out there at the moment, that seems a lot more fitting.
