A Walkerville home that has been lovingly renovated and featured in a popular Channel 10 interior design show is offering another family the opportunity to live a luxurious lifestyle.

It was love at first sight for vendor Nayia, who bought the home at 83 Church Tce in 2016, attracted by its potential for a grand renovation.

“The renovation took approximately three years, and I was here to oversee every part of the process,” Nayia says.

“My vision wanted to respect the prestige and heritage of the home, while at the same time incorporating modern amenities that have become essential to the lifestyles we – myself, my husband and my children – love to live.

“Inspired by European design and quality, many of the fixtures have been sourced internationally including tapware from England, marble tiles from Italy, appliances from Germany and hardware from North America.

“Aside from a stylish, opulent and functional aesthetic, I wanted a quality home and sublime renovation.

“The home was built in double brick, including upstairs, which is a rarity nowadays and at an enormous expense.

“Not only do I love the heritage style, I also really admire the superior craftsmanship of its time and for this reason I wanted to build to the same standard.”

It was this commitment to quality and craftsmanship that saw her incredible property capture hearts across the nation when it featured on an episode of Channel 10’s Australia by Design: Interiors.

“This signified a recognition for achieving the quality design I had set out to create,” Nayia says.

The home features four bedrooms – the master suite with an ensuite and dressing room – a study, an open-plan kitchen, living and dining area, an upstairs living room, a cellar and a pool pavilion with outdoor kitchen overlooking a sparkling in-ground pool.

The home is surrounded by landscaped grounds and is just a short walk from prized shops and schools.

“The home is an expression of my creative skills and imagination – it is my art,” Nayia says.

“I can’t wait to see who falls in love with it, and I am very excited for them, because it is a perspective I have already, and I know it is one they will cherish.”

The family now plan to embark on their next renovation project – ideally again in Walkerville as they have fallen in love with the area and its lifestyle offerings.

The home is being sold via an expressions of interest campaign, which closes at 2pm on July 26.
