LDLC are favored to grab a Closed Qualifier spot

Favorites such as Endpoint, LDLC, and Wisla Krakow have powered through the competition, but it remains to be seen whether they can get the job done and achieve a top four today.

AGO, Apeks, BLINK eliminated; round-of-16 starts

Damian “⁠Furlan⁠” Kislowski and co. will not be fighting for the closed qualifier spot in the HLTV-featured matches as countrymen AVEZ eliminated them from the tournament, 16-13. AGO finished 5-8th in the second qualifier, and now have just one more chance in the final one.

Apeks and BLINK are two more high-seed teams that are out of the qualifier, having lost to GTZ Bulls and cowana, respectively. GORILLAZ have overcome NASR to move on in the tournament.

GORILLAZ to rematch NASR in round-of-32

The Robin “⁠flusha⁠” Rönnquist led-squad faces NASR in round-of-32, hoping to get revenge on the Middle Eastern team that eliminated them from the previous IEM Fall open qualifier.

Other matches coming up are domestic derbies AGOAVEZ and AGFTricked, while Ukrainian – Serbian mixture ONYX faces the Mongolians of D13, who are bootcamping in Turkey.

An interesting result happened in the match between ANDIBUL CARROT and HONORIS, where the mix team featuring standout Bulgarian players Teodor “⁠SPELLAN⁠” Nikolov and Ivan “⁠Rock1nG⁠” Stratiev eliminated Wiktor “⁠TaZ⁠” Wojtas and co. from the tournament.

NOM, Marten, iNation, and x6tence are some of the teams that have been eliminated ahead of the round-of-32 starting, while PACT is out after a default loss.

No upsets have been spotted in the qualifier yet, with South being the only notable team to drop out – due to the Danish team prioritizing the V4 qualifier.

A total of 130 teams checked in for the qualifier, which sees the action start with the round-of-256. The most notable teams have been given BYEs into the second round.

Out of the initially mentioned notable teams, GODSENT fe, 4glory, Sangal, GamerLegion and SAW didn’t check-in, with the overlaps with the V4 Future Sports Festival qualifier and Gjirafa50 Masters a likely cause of the ommisions.

IEM Fall EU Qualifier #3 kicks off shortly

Following the successful qualification of Copenhagen Flames, Movistar Riders, Fiend, and MAD Lions for the IEM Fall 2021 Europe Closed Qualifier, two more teams will be found through the third qualifier, happening on September 4-5.

The event will be covered with HLTV matches from the round-of-16, with this article set to bring updates from the earlier stages of the tournament.

Endpoint are one of the standout teams in the qualifier

The first matches in the IEM Fall 2021 Europe Open Qualifier 3 will start at 18:00 , with the best teams expected to sit out the first round due to their higher seed and join the action in the round-of-128

Currently, nearly 200 teams are signed up for the event, although it remains to be seen how many will check-in by 17:45 , after which the bracket will be created.
