Due to an unfortunate incident at the XO Hall in Jakarta, Indonesia, the venues for the M4 World Championships have been changed.

As the M4 World Championships quickly approach, we have already seen the Group Stage draw, with the 16 teams split into their four groups. With less than two weeks until the event kicks off from Jakarta, Indonesia, some changes to the venue have had to be made. Early in December we learned of an unfortunate and devastating fire which occurred at the XO Hall, the venue which was meant to give play to the Group Stage of the M4 World Championships. Due to these circumstances, Moonton have been forced to make a venue change for the upcoming event.

M4 Venue Change announcement

Announced a few days ago, Moonton confirmed that the Group Stage of M4, scheduled to take place from January 1st to 4th, 2022, will now be held at the Bali United Studio – while the Knockout Stage will be played from the Tennis Indoor Senayan, which is located in the same area as the previous Istora Senayan venue. Unfortunately, due to this change of venues, Moonton has had to make some drastic changes in tickets, as the Knockout Stage venue has a capacity 50% smaller than the Istora Senayan.

M4 Venue change

With that, many fans who have already acquired their tickets will be getting a refund, plus a concession of 250 in-game Diamonds to appease them. As the event quickly approaches, hopefully there will not be any more issues which get in the way of the players, fans, and all others attending and witnessing the M4 World Championships.
