Planon Extending Connected Buildings Offering with Acquisition of Axonize

Planon, an Israeli developer of cloud-based IoT Platforms has aquired Axonize, which provides out-of-the-box connections with smart devices and data sources, thereby taking a further step to realize its ambition of enabling connected buildings at scale. Planon also hopes to further strengthen its market leading position in smart building systems.

Axonize complements Planon’s ‘Open Platform’ approach, says Pierre Guelen, CEO of Planon. He claims the acquisition also supports Planon’s strategic partnership with Schneider Electric and other technology partners.
