“IT is a slam dunk in every way.”

That was the pitch for this family home in Glenorchy, which keen property market followers very likely saw on social media over the past week.

4one4 Propery Co’s Aaron Murray and John McGregor dropped a JackJumpers-themed video spruiking — among other things — the property’s proximity to MyState Bank Arena.

“That gives us time to talk about the starting five,” Mr McGregor said in the video. “I’m not talking about players … five bedrooms. Where else are you going to find a completely level property with a room for every single family member?”

While fun, this sort of out-of-the-box thinking is also part of the agency’s engagement strategy. And it is working, Mr Murray said, with a few people mentioning it at inspections.

The butterfly-shaped No.18 Fleming St, Glenorchy has one bathroom, diamond-shaped windows, and an expansive deck for entertaining.

The kitchen is modern, well-equipped and has an island bench and gas cooking. The living areas are warm and comfortable, including timber flooring.

“The location is so convenient. It’s a big family home with an updated kitchen, and there is so much character in the interiors,” Mr Murray said.

“It will be a great home for whoever buys it. With 16 groups at the first open, it felt busy; a bit like the old market.”

Like much of Hobart, Mr Murray said there has been JackJumpers fever in the 4one4 office.

But the idea of working on a JackJumpers video to promote this home was sparked by the owner.

“The house is maybe 400m from the stadium. When I first met the owner it was game day and there were cars everywhere in the nearby streets,” he said.

“She told me about how people park there and then walk across to the game. Bang! That’s a video idea right there.”

The agents and in-house media team work together on the script, which, like their Mission Impossible-inspired video from 2023, adds a lighthearted touch to the facts about the home.

Keep your eyes peeled for magical floating and spinning balls, a meteorite-like long bomb, and “Johnny Mac’s” probably-nailed-it-first-go shot.

No.18 Fleming St, Glenorchy is listed with 4one4 at $595,000-plus.
