Solana Announced Exclusive Hackathon For All Indian Developers

Solana announced an exclusive hackathon for the Indian developers with more than $80,000 in prizes for all looking to join the crypto space as we are reading more in our latest altcoin news today.

To support the Indian blockcahin development ecosystem, Solana announced an exclusive hackathon where it will be rolling out prizes for developers and entrepreneurs. Solana noted that the hackathon dubbed “building out Loud” will last for three weeks and the registration for it is open to students, Web 3 developers, engineers, and anyone that is looking to get into the crypto space.

The hackathon will be organized in collaboration with Devfolio and Super pumped, two tech companies that helped host thousands of hackathons across the globe. Participants will have the opportunity to win prizes from the pool containing more than $80,000 and will be able to launch a global product starting from the first day of the hackathon and to raise capital from the list of investors. There are several special prizes from the Solana Foundation, Balaji Srinivasan, Lightspeed Ventures, Kunal Kapoor and Serum, and more.

Solana disclosed that it is aiming to make the “building out loud” event one of the biggest social hackathons India has ever seen. The project intended to keep growing its ecosystem by using hackathons as a tool for growth, bringing the industry to more mainstream users. The “Building Out Loud” hackathon is aimed at becoming the social movement for the young generation of entrepreneurs which researching for new opportunities to launch a global product and to raise capital from prominent global investors.

The three winners will receive cash prizes of $10,000, $7000 and $5000 among other special incentives and the registration for the hackathon is now ongoing and is set to last until August 12, 2021. Solana announced the winners of the Season Hackathon competition a $1 million initiative that was established to support the projects on the blockchain. It selected about 39 winners out of the 13,000 participants and more than 350 projects that it received in the competition worldwide.

As previously reported, The leading crypto asset manager Grayscale Investments is exploring 13 additional investment products according to the announcement on Thursday. Grayscale considers adding Solana, ICP, and Polygon and on a further note, it looks to add 1Inch, Curve, Bancor, Kava, Kyber Network, NEAR, and Loopring as well.
