Acolyte Mastery: Necromancer Build

The most perfect and beginner-friendly build of the Last Epoch Starter Builds in this list is the Necromancer Mastery build from the Acolyte class. It deals tons of damage by summoning an army of minions to shred through anything in your path as you level up in the game. It is a build perfect for a long-range player who can let their minions take hits for them. 

Here are the Skills that will be used in the Necromancer build:

  • Summon Skeleton: Summons a Skeleton Warrior or Skeleton Archer to guard you. You are limited to 3 Skeletons at one time.
    • Mana Cost: 15

  • Summon Bone Golem: Summons a Bone Golem which attacks slowly, but has a 15% chance of retaliating with Bone Shatter when hit.

The second beginner-friendly build of the Last Epoch Starter Builds in this list is the Paladin Mastery build from the Sentinel class. This build is best at specifically targeting foes by melting them with a scorching hot Javelin. This build scales really well into the end game, as you gain access to more Passive Skills. It deals an insane amount of damage alongside speedy recovery, making it a very balanced build for a beginner.

Here are the Skills that will be used in the Paladin build:

  • Rive: A combination of three melee attacks. Every third consecutive melee attack using Rive slashes in a full circle around the character, dealing double damage.
    • Mana Cost: 0
    • Damage: 4
    • Cooldown: N/A
  • Lunge: Dash to an enemy nearby and strike it with your weapon. This Skill cannot be used without a proper target. It also uses more Mana the further away that the target is from your location.
    • Mana Cost: 8
    • Damage: 2

  • Javelin: Hurl a Javelin in a straight path, piercing every enemy in the weapon’s path. If you have a Spear equipped, the added melee damage applies to the Javelin as added throwing damage, at 30% of its normal value. Other melee damage does not add up and the added throwing damage applies at 180% effectiveness.

The third and last but definitely not the least beginner-friendly build of the Last Epoch Starter Builds in this list is the Druid Mastery build from the Primalist class. This build focuses on melee range attacks to build up stacks on enemies to scale damage. This is also a really tanky build with 20% increased health alongside the massive defense boost when shapeshifting. It deals an insane amount of damage letting you focus on defense and recovery.

Here are the Skills that will be used in the Druid build:

  • Swipe: A melee attack that hits all enemies in front of you in an area. This Skill attack is unaffected by weapon range.
    • Mana Cost: 0
    • Damage Per Second: 4
    • Cooldown: N/A
  • Summon Thorn Totem: Summons a totem that fires thorns at all enemies nearby. You can summon and have a total of two totems at once by default.
    • Mana Cost: 18
    • Cooldown: N/A
  • Spriggan Form: Transform into a Forest Spriggan, gaining 4 new abilities including Spirit Thorns, Thorn Shield, Summon Vine and Summon Healing Totem alongside having increased spell-casting capabilities. In Spriggan form, your Mana is replaced with Rage and when the meter hits 0, you return back to your normal form.

  • Duality of Nature: When you hit with Swipe and hit at least one enemy, gain Health if you are transformed and if you have not transformed, gain Mana.

  • Eterra’s Blessing: The nearest ally target is healed for 100 health. If the target is one of your minions, the healing is tripled and they are energized for 4 seconds, increasing size by 20% and damage by 100%.
