Brazilian side Imperial have announced Marcelo “chelo” Cespedes’ departure

Imperial Esports have officially announced the departure of Marcelo “chelo” Cespedes, bringing an end to the one-year journey of the 25-year-old rifler with the organization. Chelo is the second player who has parted ways with the organization over the past 24 hours. Earlier, Imperial had confirmed that Gabriel “FalleN” Toledo, who was their in-game leader last season, would be playing for a new team next season. chelo became a part of Imperial in August 2022 and shortly after his arrival, he established himself as a key figure in the roster. His Imperial stint highlights include winning the ESL Brazil Premier League Season 14, attaining second place at the ESL Challenger Melbourne 2022, and making it to the semi-finals of both the FiReLEAGUE 2022 Global Finals and the BLAST Premier Spring Final 2023.
