TSL 7 – Bracket and Talent

Source Node: 889105

Hey there! I’m back with what will be our final update before the Shopify TSL 7 goes live on Saturday. We’ve been hard at work with TSL 7, and are happy to share some more of the event, including the art above! We’re also done preparing our talent lineup and the finalized bracket for the event:

Bracket
Now that DreamHack has concluded, we’re using the most up to date EPT points, excluding NeXT SC2, as that event is not yet complete. For Special, we chose to seed him by with his highest scoring region (Latin America). As a reminder, we have 16 players playing a double elimination bracket. Here’s what it looks like:

We’ll be adding the specific schedule to (Wiki)Liquipedia soon, and shuffling around the order of some of the matches so they’re easier for players to accommodate.

Commentators
Let’s be real, here. If you’ve kept up with SC2 at all in the last half decade, you are extraordinarily familiar with the main casters we’ve got for TSL 7. There’s nothing I could possibly say that would amount to the thousands of hours that (Wiki)ZombieGrub, (Wiki)RotterdaM, and (Wiki)Wardi have been on camera and casting games. For TSL 7, we’ll have at least one of these casters on for every game!

Guest Commentators
For long time fans, these names will also be very familiar! But just in case, I’m happy to introduce the casters who you’ll see for a day or two during the event:

(Wiki)Sean “Day[9]” Plott returns once again! We’re very fortunate that the legendary creator of the Day[9] Dailies was able to find time in his packed June schedule to join us again.

(Wiki)Kevin “Harstem” Koning is one of our staple guests, and returns once again to provide his professional Protoss perspective! He’s also known for his thriving YouTube, which you should go subscribe to now.

(Wiki)Julian “Lambo” Brosig is another of our recurring guests, and Z-alliterations are much harder to come up with.*

(Wiki)Dario “TLO” Wünsch will join us in a more official capacity on the broadcast team! As the current Shopify Rebellion Head of Player Development and a former player for Team Liquid, TLO represents much of the past, present, and future of SC2!

(Wiki)Ben “MrBitter” Nichol had a quick cameo cast during TSL 6, and we’re happy to give Bitterdam another reunion during TSL 7!

*: Lambo won’t be drinking or smoking**
**: (can’t promise the same for Rotti)

Observer

(Wiki)Igor “Indy” Kaczmarek is a former professional player, now a Polish commentator and All-Star observer! He’s spectated events including IEM Katowice, WCS, and more!

We’re extremely excited to begin games this weekend, and are grateful for the support provided by Shopify, Secretlab, IMC Trading, and Twitch!
