Where to find Kuhsagi Lightroot in Tears of the Kingdom (TotK)

The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom has three different planes for you to explore, from the sky to the depths, there’s a massive open-world here for you to explore. One of the things you can explore and undertake in the open-world is the labyrinths that you can find across the map. These labyrinths were in Breath of the Wild too, but they have been expanded upon in the sequel. They eventually give you access to new areas of the depths where these end, and the Lightroots here are hard to get to due to the steps needed to get there. Here’s our guide on where to find Kuhsagi Lightroot in Tears of the Kingdom.

Where to find Kuhsagi Lightroot in Tears of the Kingdom

You can find the Kuhsagi Lightroot is located underneath the Lomei Labyrinth in the north-east of the map. You need to essentially complete the entire Labyrinth side quest to be able to get to the Kuhsagi Lightroot. We’ll take you the steps you need to complete this and be able to get there.

The first part of the side quest

The first part of the quest is pretty simple, you need to find the terminal inside the bars in the Lomei Labyrinth. One of the easiest ways of getting through these labyrinths is to simply climb to the top of the labyrinth and walk along the top, which allows you to look for where you need to go from above. Once you get to the top of the labyrinth, head to the location in the map below, you should be able to see a path leading inside the center of the labyrinth where the shrine is, and that’s where you need to go.

The sky labyrinth

The sky labyrinth you need to complete to find the Kuhsagi Lightroot is a bit trickier as it requires you to find four terminals, but it’s also relatively easy if you can get to the top of the labyrinth. Just like the other labyrinth you need to complete, you can climb to the top of the labyrinth to find the terminals that are on the map. Sadly you can’t climb any of the interior walls, but you can climb the external walls and one of the terminals has an Ascendable ceiling that I found, so there may be more of those around. The terminals being marked on the map makes this labyrinth a lot easier than it looks.

After doing that, it’s time to head to the Depths through the newly opened hole, and here is where you will find the Kuhsagi Lightroot.

Finding the Kuhsagi Lightroot

After you descend into the depths below the Lomei Labyrinth, you can fight the boss here to get a piece of armor, and then find the Lightroot, or just find the Kuhsagi Lightroot. To do this, when you land you’re going to want to just Ascend. Most of this structure comes out to a flat roof, and that’s where the Lightroot is. There is also a route up there via some stairs, but if you Ascend from the location in the image below, you should be able to get to the Lightroot a lot quicker.
