NYSL $25k Proving Grounds Update – Season 1: Week 3

Source Node: 767203

Attention Call of Duty grinders! We are nearly finished with our first month of free-to-enter combat in the NYSL Power Players tournament series. In case you missed it, we recently announced a year-long run of free Call of Duty tournaments and ladders with the New York Subliners and Beyond.

We are now finished with Week #3 in the first season of the 4v4 Proving Grounds ladder series, but don’t worry, you still have time to leave your mark and finesse a spot on the leaderboard! The past two weeks have brought big movements on the ladder rankings and ASTRO Leaderboard, so let’s dig in to our latest stats, results, and drama.

CURRENT TOP 8 STANDINGS

Taking a peek at our Week #3 standings, you’ll notice there’s a new squad leaving a trail of teams in their wake.

The Top 8 Ladder teams at the end of the season will win cash, ASTRO prizes, and qualify for the Season 1 Playoffs on April 30th. Three weeks down, means you’ve still got 5 weeks to rally your squad and get your names on the board!

NEW LADDER KINGS

Leading into Week 2, the Demons held the #1 spot with a seemingly unbreakable grip. However, kings are meant to be dethroned, and in Week #3 Dingers Dominion did just that. Although they are a new squad to Beyond and ASTRO tournaments, their dominance has so far been unchecked.

Dingers Dominion

Dingers Dominion’s 15-0 win record against teams like the deDemons, Sask Snakes, and So LoveLy is just waiting for the next worthy squad to step up and challenge their perfect record.

WEEKLY PRIZE WINNERS

Remember, you don’t even need to place in the Top 8 to win some awesome ASTRO gear. CDL A40 TR Headsets are up for grabs every week to the teams who play the most matches and earn points on the weekly leaderboard.

Week #2 Prize Winners: Sask Snakes

Week #3 Prize Winners: So LoveLy

There are still multiple rounds of Weekly and Monthly headset prizes for you and your squad to win! All you have to do is find your team and start putting matches up on the board.

Every month has new prizes up for grabs, and there is still time to register a team and start your winning record in Proving Grounds.
