Tall Vampire Lady: The Game, also known as Resident Evil Village, has shipped a whopping three million copies.
That’s not quite the same as copies sold but it’s still an impressive achievement, given the game has been out for all of five days. It’s pretty close to Resident Evil 7’s performance which shipped 2.5 million units in three days.
And, best of all, it deserves it. Resident Evil Village is an excellent game, with not a microtransaction in site (Capcom’s saving those for Resident Evil: ReVerse). We awarded it an excellent 8 out of 10, noting that it’s “a far cry from its more grounded and horror-focused predecessor, but in the end, it’s perhaps just as lovable.”

And, despite it being complete and sporting no season pass, we’d love to see some more stories from Castle Dimitrescu or other places in Village’s er, village. The Maiden demo was a great piece of content and we’d happily pay for more. Shut up and take our money, Capcom.
If you want to see what all the fuss is about, you can dive into Resident Evil Village right now, on Xbox, PC, Playstation and Google Stadia.
