The Green Bay Packers will be bringing back star running back Aaron Jones for another season. Among rumors that he would be cut to save some cap space, Jones restructured his deal. He will make $11 million, including a $8.52 million signing bonus.

ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported the news via Twitter on Friday.

Jones has been a Packer since he was drafted in the fifth round of the 2017 NFL Draft out of UTEP. In March of 2021, he signed a four-year, $48 million contract extension. That was the same year he became a red zone receiving threat, catching six touchdowns.

In the 2022 season, Jones rushed 213 times for 1,121 yards and two touchdowns. He added the second-most receiving yards of his career (395) and five more scores. He was the co-touchdowns leader in 2019 and a Pro Bowler 2020.
